History

 

Bostwick branch library

Historical Facts about Bostwick Branch

June 1980  The twelfth branch library, Westmount Branch, opens in quarters adjoining the Village Green Baptist Church at 507 Village Green Avenue.

September 21, 2002 The new Westmount Branch Library opens at 3200 Wonderland Road South.

June 23, 2012 Employment Resource Centres closes at Beacock, Pond Mills and Westmount branches.

November 4, 2017 The 3200 Wonderland Road South location of Westmount Branch Library closes as part of the process of moving into a new, multipurpose facility with City of London and YMCA, scheduled for completion in fall, 2018.  A small, temporary location (a Pop Up Library) is opened in the Westmount Shopping Centre to serve patrons until the new facility opens.

September 1, 2018 The Pop-Up Library located in the Westmount Shopping Centre closed as the Library prepared to move into its new location in the Bostwick Community Centre, YMCA & Library.

September 11, 2018 The new Bostwick Branch Library opened in the Boswick Community Centre, YMCA & Library!

Parking

There is free parking onsite, including accessible spaces. The parking lot is located behind the facility and there is a also drop off area located behind the facility.  You can return items through the exterior return chutes at the back of the facility (parking lot side). There is also an interior return chute by the Library.
